TPCC president Revanth Reddy today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and minister Harish Rao were diverting Dubbaka's funds to Siddipet.
He claimed that the KCR government was not giving funds to Dubbaka, and so the people of the constituency had elected BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao as the latter had promised during his last by-election that he would bring funds from PM Modi and develop Dubbaka. But Raghunandan Rao had always been busy with his party's political squabbles and had not brought any funds or done anything for Dubbaka, and had no right to ask for votes again, he said.
Targeting the local BRS candidate Prabhakar Reddy, he asked what Prabhakar Reddy did for the constituency despite being elected as its MP twice. "Why didn't he take steps to make Dubbaka a revenue division? Why were the poor of the region not given double bedroom houses?" he asked.
He urged the people to ensure the victory of the Congress candidate Cheruku Srinivas Reddy from Dubbaka, claiming that the former MLA and father of Cheruku, Muthyam Reddy, had fought with KCR and brought funds for Dubbaka.
