Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao sanctioned Rs 28,09,815 to Ajmeera Bobby of Dandepally village of the Adilabad district for pursuing commercial pilot licence training at the Dean International Flying School, Tamiami, Florida, USA.
The above financial assistance of Rs. 28,09,815 will be utilized for:
Rs 21,21,215 - tuition fees Rs 3,75,600 - living expenses Rs 3,13,000 - other expenses (uniform, travel expenses etc)
The Chief Minister considered her application as a special case to encourage tribal women turning pilots. With this money Ajmeera Bobby will become a full-fledged commercial pilot after the completion of her training, and will be the first tribal girl from Telangana to be a pilot.
