KCR Announces Names Of BRS Candidates For Assembly Elections
The BRS president and Telangana CM today announced the names of the BRS candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.

BRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today announced the names of the BRS candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections, and declared that he himself would be contesting from the Kamareddy and Gajwel constituencies.
Announcing this at a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, the BRS president said that eight Assembly constituencies - Station Ghanpur, Khanapur, Wyra, Korutla, Uppal, Asifabad, Kamareddy and Vemulawada - would see new faces, and that the candidates for four other Assembly constituencies - Nampally, Narsapur, Goshamahal and Jangaon - would be announced later.
Among the notable changes, Paidi Kaushik Reddy will be contesting from Huzurabad, the late G Sayanna's daughter L Nanditha will be contesting from the Secunderabad Cantonment seat held by her father, and former deputy chief minister Kadiyam Srihari will be contesting from Station Ghanpur, which is being represented by Thatikonda Rajaiah.
In Vemulawada, Chalmeda Lakshmi Narasimha Rao will contest in place of Chennamaneni Ramesh, whose citizenship issue is still in court.
