BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao denied the party ticket to eight sitting MLAs.
The MLAs who have been denied the party ticket include Subhash Reddy from Uppal, Thatikonda Rajaiah from Station Ghanpur, Ramulu Naik from Wyra, Rekha Naik from Khanapur, Gampa Govardhan from Kamareddy, Rathod Bapurao from Bodh, Athram Sakku from Asifabad and Vidyasagar Rao from Korutla.
The constituencies for which candidates have not been named yet are Nampally, Jangaon, Narsapur and Goshamahal.
Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister said that the BRS would win 95 to 105 Assembly seats in the upcoming Assembly elections, and would retain power for the third consecutive term.
He also said that the party would organise a huge rally in Warangal on October 16, and would release its manifesto on that day.
