Telangana Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy on Saturday said that the State government had stepped up efforts to make complete arrangements for the 12-day Godavari Pushkaralu beginning from July 14.
Speaking to mediapersons, the minister said that due to the paucity of water in the river Godavari, 1,000 cusecs of water from the Kadem project would be released in the river every day till the Pushkaralu concluded.
He also said that they were in touch with the Maharashtra government for release of water into the river for the convenience of the pilgrims.
