The Telangana State Road Development Corporation (TSRTC) will ply 2,300 special buses for the Godavari Pushkaralu, according to Executive Director Purushotham Reddy.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday, Reddy said that the TSRTC had decided to run enough additional buses to cater to the high demand on the Pushkaralu routes from July 14 to 25.
Four AC buses each to Dharmapuri in the Karimnagar and Bhadrachalam in the Khammam districts from Hyderabad will be run. An additional 450 buses from Hyderabad, including 80 from MGBS, will transport passengers to the various pushkar ghats in the five districts for the Pushkaralu.
Other buses that will transport the people from various other places include 420 from the Karimnagar district, 360 from the Warangal and the Khammam districts, and 310 from the Adilabad and Nizamabad districts. (NSS)
