Former MLA from Secunderabad and cine actor Jayasudha has said that she would campaign for the Congress party in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media after calling on TPCC president N Uttamkumar Reddy at the latter's residence on Tuesday, Jayasudha said that she was surprised over the "false"
news reports appearing in the media stating that the Congress would suspend her from the party.
She made it clear that she had no objection if the party appointed a new Secunderabad Assembly constituency in-charge.
"I am not confined to the Secunderabad constituency alone. As a cine artiste, I will extend my services in both Telugu states," she said.
Stating that she had no differences with former mayor Banda Karthika Reddy, Jayasudha said that she would campaign for the Congress during the upcoming GHMC elections across the city, and would concentrate on the Secunderabad Assembly constituency.
The TPCC president said that Jayasudha would continue in the Congress and was an asset to the party. (NSS)
