Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy, on Wednesday, said that the CBI had questioned him over the investments made by industrialists and individuals in Janani Infra, one of the group companies owned by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Talking to media persons after facing the CBI's questioning at Dilkusha Guest House for the second consecutive day, Chandrasekhar Reddy said that he gave the CBI satisfactory replies to all its questions.
He claimed that the CBI had questioned him as a "witness" in the disproportionate assets case, and not as an "accused".
According to sources, the CBI grilled the Kakinada MLA about the investments made by certain individuals, who had allegedly benefited from the government during the tenure of former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Jagan's father. (INN)
