Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh today said that he would not resign from his MLA post under any circumstances, and that he was ready to meet the BJP high command if summoned and would rejoin the party if asked.
Speaking to the media, Singh asked what the party leadership could do if he refused to step down as MLA.
He issued a direct challenge to Union Minister and BJP MP Kishan Reddy, and said that if Reddy resigned from his position he too would resign as MLA, and they could then both contest for the seat.
The Goshamahal MLA launched a scathing attack on the current BJP State leadership, calling party president Ramchander Rao a rubber stamp. He alleged that all key leaders in the new BJP committee were from Hyderabad, and asked whether the committee was formed by Rao himself or under the influence of Reddy.
Singh also said that if the BJP came to power in Telangana under the present committee, he would retire from politics.
He added that he would continue to raise his voice against mistakes within the party and would not back down under any circumstances.
