Now, IAS Officers To Get Legal Aid
The state government issues a GO, extending legal help to senior bureacrats who have been named in different cases.

The state government, on Tuesday, decided to extend legal assistance to 7 IAS officials, whose names have figured in the issue of controversial GOs favouring the amassing of alleged illegal wealth by YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
The state government has issued a GO in this connection, extending legal help to senior bureacrats who have been named in different cases.
According to the GO, the following IAS officials would get legal assistance: Ratna Praba, Manmohan Singh, C V S K Sarma, S V Prasad, Shyam Babu and Samuel Babu.
However, suspended IAS officials B P Acharya and Sri Lakshmi's names did not figure in the list.
It may be recalled that the state government has already extended legal assistance to 5 ministers - Dr. J Geetha Reddy, Kanna Lakshminarayana, B Dharmana Prasad Rao, P Sabitha Indra Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah - whose names figured in the case, and who received notices from the Supreme Court.(INN)
