Jagga Reddy Cries For Solution To City Traffic Woes
The Sangareddy MLA and Congress leader demanded that CM K Chandrashekar Rao initiate urgent steps to manage the vehicular traffic congestion in Hyderabad.
Sangareddy MLA and Congress leader T Jagga Reddy today demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao initiate urgent steps to manage the growing vehicular traffic congestion in Hyderabad.
He urged the CM to hold a review meeting on the issue with the officials concerned and find a solution to the ever-growing problem.
He also said that his party was ready to lend ideas to address the menace.
Speaking to mediapersons, Reddy faulted the TRS leaders for blaming the Congress for the traffic chaos in the city, and advised them to focus on addressing the problem instead. He wondered what the TRS government had been doing to address the problem despite the people giving 100 GHMC corporators to it.
Highlighting the seriousness of the traffic woes, Reddy said that there was no scope for commuters to give way to an emergency ambulance in the city today.
Referring to the statement of GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore that the residents of the city should not come out of their houses when it rained, he wryly wondered how the citizens would know the dates and timings of rain in the city.
