YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's indefinite hunger strike in Chanchalguda Jail, demanding the maintenance of status quo on Andhra Pradesh, has entered its 5th day on Thursday.
According to jail authorities, Jagan is stable, although he reportedly developed weakness. His BP, sugar levels and pulse levels are also said to be dropping.
Meanwhile, Jagan rejected authorities' request to call off the fast, and refused to take food for the fifth consecutive day.
A team of doctors has been deployed by the jail authorities to keep a watch on Jagan's health. (INN)
