The indefinite hunger strike being undertaken by YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Chanchalguda Jail entered its third day on Tuesday.
Jagan is on a fast demanding that the Centre maintain status quo on Andhra Pradesh if it cannot do justice to all regions while bifurcating AP to create a separate Telangana.
Meanwhile, a team of doctors conducted Jagan's medical check-up in the morning, and at the request of YSRCP leaders, the jail authorities agreed to release a health bulletin in the evening.
Meanwhile, the city police stepped up security around Chanchalguda Jail to prevent Jagan's supporters from assembling near the jail premises. (INN)
