The police once again took controversial TDP leader and former MLA of the Tadipatri Assembly constituency in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, J C Prabhakar Reddy, into their custody in a case related to the threatening of a CI.
The police booked an SC/ST atrocities case against him, and a court sent him to a one-day police custody.
Reddy is likely to be interrogated by the police on Sunday.
Using the opportunity, the police have also filed a petition in the court urging it to cancel his bail in the fake vehicle registration case.
