Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today said that the State government was committed to promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a big way, and to leveraging its power.
Addressing the delegates after inaugurating a two-day Global AI Summit at the HICC, the Chief Minister said, "The State government has already taken a slew of measures for the use of artificial intelligence, and it wants to lay a strong foundation for our future in the field."
Claiming that Hyderabad was the city in India most prepared to promote the establishment of AI companies, he said that the Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM) in partnership with NASSCOM would assist the government in implementing the AI framework in the State, and that the government would move forward to develop innovations in AI in coordination with industry experts.
"This Global AI Summit itself is a testimony that the city of Hyderabad will become an AI hub soon," Reddy said, and appealed to all the stakeholders to join hands with the State government to make Hyderabad a prominent AI hub in the world.
