A two-day-long Global Artificial Intelligence Summit will begin at HICC on September 5.
With the theme "Making AI Work For Everyone", the global conference is being organised to deliberate important issues on the use of artificial intelligence in technical advancements.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with IT and Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu will inaugurate the conference in the presence of the delegates from across the world.
More than 2,000 representatives in the field of artificial intelligence from all over the world have confirmed their participation in the global summit.
Sal Khan, the head of Khan Academy, who has been playing a key role in developing technical solutions in AI; Daniela Combe from IBM; and Peter Diamandis of XPRIZE Foundation are among those who will attend the conference.
Global leaders in AI will share their thoughts, vision and ideas for the development of AI sector. The summit will also discuss future opportunities and new innovations.
The delegates will also debate the impact of AI on society, and the regulation needed.
Research, startup demos and innovative projects which are under development will also be presented in the conference.
Four additional stages have been set up along with the main venue at the conference. Discussions and interesting sessions on different topics related to AI will be held on all the platforms. In all, the conference will host 25 special programs on the development of Artificial Intelligence.
The Telangana government is hosting the conference aiming to attract global attention to the city in the field. During his recent visit to the US, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had announced that his government was according top priority to promote Telangana as a hub of AI in the world, and the State government has already decided to establish an ambitious AI city on a sprawling 200 acres in the proposed Fourth City in the Greater Hyderabad limits. It might be officially unveiled in the conference.
The CM will also release a road map for the promotion of AI in Telangana at the summit.
