Hyderabad Metro Rail Prototype On Display

CM Kiran Kumar Reddy inaugurates a prototype coach of the Hyderabad Metro rail. The coach will be on display to the public from Thursday.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy inaugurated a prototype coach of the Hyderabad Metro rail, earlier today. The coach, which is reported to be state-of-the-art, will be on display for the benefit of public from Thursday.

L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd., the company undertaking the construction process of the metro railway, showcased the first coach. The coaches will be manufactured by the Korean company, Hyundai-Rotem consortium.

The CM said on this occassion that the Hyderabad Metro Rail is sure to become another "symbol of the brand Hyderabad" like the Outer Ring Road and the P V Narasimha Rao Expressway.

The inauguration program was attended by state ministers Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy, Danam Nagender, Mukhesh Goud, apart from Metro Rail managing director N V S Reddy.
