The Telangana High Court today directed the officials concerned to preserve the bodies of four accused in the
Disha rape and murder, reportedly
killed in an encounter by the police 8 days later.
Hearing the case on Friday, the High Court directed the State government to preserve the bodies till the Supreme Court delivered its orders.
The court also said that the three-member judicial commission appointed by the apex court to go into the alleged encounter was likely to inspect the bodies.
The commission was expected to start its probe in Hyderabad in two days, the court said.
The Supreme Court had yesterday asked the High Court and the NHRC to stop all investigations into the encounter,
appointing the three-member commission for that job. The Supreme Court directed the commission to submit its report in six months.
