High Court Declines To Stay Government Iftar Party

The Hyderabad High Court today declined to stay the Telangana government's proposed iftar party to Muslims on the occasion of Ramzan.

A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed today in the Hyderabad High Court seeking a stay on the Telangana government's proposed iftar party to Muslims on the occasion of Ramzan. However, the High Court rejected the plea.

The court said that it would hear the petitioner out on Tuesday.

Finding fault with state government for spending Muslim minority funds for the government-sponsored iftar party, Lubma Sarwath filed the PIL.
