The Telangana High Court today adjourned the hearing of BJP MLA T Raja Singh's petition urging the cancellation of orders invoking the PD Act against him, to Monday of next week.
The HC said that it would hear the case at 2:30 pm on Monday.
The petition was filed by the wife of the controversial BJP MLA, urging the HC to quash the PD Act order issued by the Hyderabad Commissioner of Police C V Anand against her husband.
Earlier this week, the advisory board set up to review the invoking of the PD Act against the MLA had rejected the petition of his wife and upheld the orders of the Commissioner.
