The Telangana High Court today adjourned the hearing on the petition filed by former minister and BRS working president K T Rama Rao seeking a quashing of the case filed against him by the Telangana government over the Formula E racing event held in the city last year.
Justice Shravan Kumar ordered that KTR not be arrested until the 31st of this month. The court also scheduled the matter for further hearing on December 31.
The court had in the last hearing issued orders preventing KTR's arrest by the ACB in connection with the case until December 30, and directed that no action be taken against him.
ACB officials filed a counter in the case today, along with an additional petition to set aside the interim orders that the court had issued in the last hearing not to arrest KTR till December 30.
The court directed both KTR and the State government to file counters in response to each other's petitions.
