Hero MotoCorp Gives 1,000 Face Shields To Traffic Cops
Hero MotoCorp today handed over 1,000 face shields worth Rs 2 lakh for the safety of the Rachakonda traffic police personnel.

Hero MotoCorp, the Indian multinational motorcycle and scooter manufacturer which is the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and in the world, today handed over 1,000 face shields worth Rs 2 lakh for the safety of the Rachakonda traffic police personnel in the midst of the current pandemic.
The shields were handed over to Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Mahesh Bhagwat.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhagwat thanked the management of Hero MotoCorp and the Telangana Area Manager of the firm, Ram Shashi Kumar, for providing them with the face shields to help traffic cops deal with the difficulties they had been facing during the ongoing pandemic.
Traffic DCP Srinivas, and traffic CIs Srinivas Reddy, Joseph, Sudhir Krishna and Ramu were among those who were present on the occasion.
This is not the first time the two-wheeler manufacturing giant has taken a step for social welfare. In 2019, it had constructed a children's Traffic Training Park (TTP) at Rachakonda, in association with the local traffic police. The park, one of nine spread across the country, was opened with the aim of promoting road safety awareness among the young.
The firm's other TTPs are located in Gurugram, Delhi, Rourkela, Lucknow, Nashik, Nagpur, and Bilaspur.
