DGP Warns Of Action Against Lockdown Violators
The complete lockdown will be enforced from 7 pm to 6 am every day from today till March 31.

Telangana Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy on Monday said today that the lockdown announced yesterday would come into force from today afternoon.
Addressing mediapersons along with Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, the DGP warned the people that criminal cases would be filed against anyone who violated the lockdown rules.
He said that the state government had already issued the do's and don'ts for the people through GO No 45, and made it clear that nobody would be spared if the rules were violated.
The lockdown instructions came straight from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, he pointed out.
He asked shops selling essential commodities to close down by 7 pm till the last day of the lockdown, March 31.
He also said that the police would check every vehicle, and allow only emergency vehicles to ply in the state.
Somesh Kumar said that the complete lockdown would be enforced from 7 pm to 6 am every day from today till March 31. Though some vehicles would be permitted till 7 pm, after that only medical emergency vehicles would be allowed.
All fuel stations, grocery stores and other establishments and services, which were permitted to operate in the day, would have to close by 7 pm, he said.
"The people should purchase all essential commodities in the daytime and stay in their houses after 7 pm. Stringent action will be taken against those venturing out beyond 7 pm, and criminal cases will be registered if required," he warned.
