Governor Visits Malkajgiri Basthi Dawakhana, Speaks With Pat

Accompanied by Health Minister C Laxma Reddy, Telangana Governor E S L Narasimhan today visited the Malkajgiri "Basthi Dawakhana" and inspected the outpatient room, the pharmacy and other sections.

The Governor also underwent a blood pressure test.

Later the First Citizen spoke to a patient in the hospital named Sulochana, from Sathireddy Colony. He asked her why she came to the Basthi Dawakhana, what medicines she was using and how the treatment was.

Sulochana said that the treatment was good in the dawakhana and that the doctors were responding quickly.

In the course of the conversation the Governor in a lighter vein advised Sulochana not to fall sick by thinking too much.

Narasimhan also asked the local corporator to visit the Dawakhana frequently and extend cooperation to the doctors. The Health Minister and he congratulated the doctors and staff of the dawakhana on the occasion.
