The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

I am complaining for street light from past 1 year at jubilee hills Road no 10c jubilee hills mpmla colony pleasant valley beside senior police plot no 240,241,242,243,244,245,246,247,248,249,250 their is no street lights n it's very dark in this lane it is very scary in the night n dangerous to kindly do the need full and switch on the street lights help me sir.....

Respected Sir,

I am forced to write this note about an illegal construction of a Building (QUEEN'S COURT) constructed at Shaikpet Dargha Hazarat Hussain Shahwali Road, close to palm county gated community hyderabad.

The building elevation construction is completed but the internal construction is still to be completed. The builder without acquiring any proper firm registrations have already started running SERVICE APARTMENTS business in this building.

Actually, the building is running as a brothel (PROSTITUTION CIRCLE) in the area, the main advantage of this area is there is no police rounding.

I hereby request Mr. Commissioner to take serious actions against the builder and save the interest of resident living nearby to this building.

Dear Sir, We live in Ayyappa society, Madhapur, Hyd -500081. we are facing problem with stray dogs, they trable children and bike riders also bark through out night and disturbing sleep.

We are facing lot of problems with the street dogs in the Rock Town colony,L.B nagar...even the dogs are entering into the apartment flats...many times informed to the GHMC customer care...but they are reckless and irresponsible to the society..

im from begumpet, BRAMINWADI area .

The stagnant waters, the foul smelling drains and the un-removed garbage, have made life very miserable for the residents. Heaps of garbage lies near the dustbins. Even the dust-bins remain full to capacity. They are not cleared for weeks. The stagnant pools of water have become a breeding place for flies and mosquitoes. Stray dogs surround the dustbins. An epidemic is expected any moment due to the unhygienic conditions here.The situation still remains the same. If immediate steps are not taken to improve the sanitary conditions of the locality, the life of the residents will be in danger.

We are residents of Road no 1 Kakatiya Colony,L.B.NAGAR near Little Flower High School,.The road is flowing with drainage from the blockage of drains on up stream. Complaints are many times to municipality but no firm action is taken to solve this problem.The drainage is flowing on the road through which the school going children,residents are to walk,besides emitting foul smell, breeding mosquitoes causing health hazards to the residents.The residents association is helpless.
The road is in the lower level where the rain water/drainage from L.B Nagar ring road is passing.The drainage pipes capacity is highly inadequate due expansion of the colonies around. It is learnt that the municipality has proposed to lay higher dia drainage pipes to meet the increased flow but it is a big question when it materilise till then what are preventive measures to stop the core flow on the road.?
Can the concerned,responsible look to this persistence problem take adequate measures immediately.

Hello sir/madam,
Am a resident of Trimurthy Colony, Saroornagar, Hyd. There are nearly 5-10 dogs found in our colony. We all are facing different problems from them. They are very dangerous. They are sitting under the cars and whenever if the car person is going to unlock his car, they were ready to attack. Gathering and shouting in the nights. Fighting each other and making a lot of disturbance. Myself voluntarily requesting u take the action immediately. As we trust GHMC. Hope, u will surely solve our problem.

Respected Sir,

I Want to tell you that "The persons who LiFT GARBAGE in MADANNAPet DaraBJUNg colony,santoshnagar,(mother &son) they r very demanding,they regularly increase ther charge every 2 months,if we were not in the house for 20days also they demand us payment,not a big thing we have given them.But in 1 month they wantedly skip some houses for 3-4 days,and we have to bare that coz if ask they will say nothing but "KYA KARLETe KARLO JaO".
Now they r charging 50rs.somtimes if I fail to give 10rs,they will not take Garbage,for that day,How come these ppl have this kind of authority??my question is :-
Govt not paying this GarBage lifting persons?
Is this right that they can wantedly willingly can SKIP some houses??? Not to LiFt garbage?
If iam paying 40rs,on a particular day n iam saying that ther us no change take 10rs another day "DOES he HAs Given PErMiSsIon not to LIFT GARBAGe On That Particular day"???what is this attitude??they r behaving like ROADyShITTers....PLEAse TAKE STRiCt AcTion.THEY Are CAUSing Trouble EaCh month,,or CHANGe THEm.ThANKs.

The street light in Salala Nagar, Santosh Nagar, (near the community hall) is not working for the past one week. The residents of the colony are facing lot of hardships due the darkness.
