The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has launched a 24x7 call centre for grievance redressal. The cell, to be situated at the CMTC building at Banjara Hills, will operate with the number "155304".

Addressing a press conference on Monday, GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain and Commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that citizens can reach the call centre number from any service provider, including both landline and mobile numbers.

"The call centre will operate with six seats in each shift, and can be expandable to 10 seats in each shift. The call center can take 60 concurrent calls at any given point of time," it was announced.

The Commissioner said that the call centre would register all types of grievances and provide end-to-end redressal and follow-up with the officers concerned at various levels.

It will have two PRIs with 60 channels live to handle call centre calls, and one additional PRI with 30 channels to handle redundancy.

The data connectivity is through Intranet with a speed of 2 Mbps, and the facility will also have a 24x7 power backup.

Apart from this call centre, grievances can be registered through three other mediums. Citizens can lodge complaints through the website www.ghmc.gov.in, through the eSeva number on 1100, and during the GHMC's Face2Face programme with citizens. Further, grievances registered through VIPs, including MPs, MLAs, MLCs and corporators, will also be registered with the call centre.

The Mayor and Commissioner said they would personally monitor the functioning of the call centre, which, they claim, is being operated by professional and "highly qualified" personnel. (INN)

my house is upperpally area the road was excavated two years from now for instaling pipeline but it has not been reconsgtructed which is of great inconvenience to the residents several complains was made in this regard but THE GHMC is least bothered. this the hight of negligence.

i have loged acomplait with GHMC web site on june 18th and reminder on 29th, complaint no 2013-06-WO30677 18.6.013and reminder no2013-06-WO32036 dt 29.6.013 but to date except for one employee who came to verify my complaint no action is taken to end the illegal commercial activities in a residential premises 1-8-104 macleodguda, behind wesley boys High School, next to marwadi Hindi Vidyalaya, Secunderabad-3... kindly direct the concerned authorities in GHMC secunderabad division to end the torture that i am facing because of this illegal renting of a residential house to a eatery joint with 8 to 10 workers living and creating public nuisance through the day.

Unless a rejoinder / reply is seen against each comment this is not going anywhere..we will be fooled into believing that GHMC has now become proactive..
Just about 50 meters from my 25 Flat Apts ( GK's Ushodaya SV Colony RK Puram right at the 90 degree bend a multi-storey apts is coming up which is closed from all other three sides with barely any side clearences..It is being in such a hurry inconveniencing each one of us as loaded lorries, cement mixtures are all lined up on the only road available to us..God knows who are all signatories to the approved plan if any..That's where the GHMC Malkagiri is failing..Urban planning is failing..Builders having their way..by bribing people all around.

we are residents of Maruthinagar,malkajgiri Hno:4-31 we have already given many complaints about No road and street lights at our lane Maruthinagar,malkajgiri Hno:4-31 circle-17 municipal. Duw to an illegal construction of compound wall on government road we are not having cement road in our lane and no street lights.No action have been taken so far although we have already gave many complaints to consider our request and to grant our lane with a road and street light, in municipal office but they are saying that already our lane got sanctioned a cement road and street light.Even the counciller has given the same statement But we cant see any cement road or street light in our lane. it is a crime and how can municipal office and the authorities give such irresponsible response. we request concerned authority to look the above matter immediately since residents of Hno: 4-31 and Hno: 4-30 are facing many problems mainly in rainy days the water is getting stagnent and the sand is totally getting slippery and its making a big problem for us to walk and its really making a mess please give quick response regarding this issue as we are fed up giving complaints going to municipal daily and they are not taking any action .

sir/madam i resident of miyapur. i have complained so many times that street light is not working properly from last 3 - 4months and due to road widening and improper speed breakers so many accidents have occurred and from past 15days we are complaining to so many people and its of no use. Sir kindly verify and fix the problem so that it is useful for many people.

This is T.Rama Rao, Plot No. 59, Vaayuja Homes, Mayuri Nagar, Miyapur, Hyderabad - 50. In our locality street lights are not glowing since 6 months, I have been complaining so many times to the consult authorities, but their is no action regarding the glowing of street lights, please rectify the street lights in our line as soon as possible.

Dir Sir/Madam,

Thanks for resolving one street light. But other street light was not glowing, kindly fix one more street light at the starting of the street line or middle of the street line. Please rectify the one more street light in our line as soon as possible.
