IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao today expressed happiness at new IT companies setting up shop in Warangal.
US tech giant Genpact had just agreed to start a unit in Warangal, he said.
The minister was speaking after a virtual meeting with Genpact CEO "Tiger" Tyagarajan, where the duo spoke about the company's plans to start a tech unit at Warangal.
Cyient and Tech Mahendra had already started SDCs in Warangal, and the noted IT giant now starting a unit in the fast-growing city was great news for the city's people, KTR said.
He said that the government would provide all necessary support and make arrangements for Genpact to start its unit at the earliest.
