Doctors of Yashoda Hospital on Friday released a health bulletin about the health condition of Intermediate student 17-year-old Madhulika, who sustained multiple injuries in the attack on her by a youth of her locality, Bharat, two days back.
They said that the condition of the minor girl was improving after the seven-hour-long surgery on her.
The doctors also said that Madhulika had not only opened her eyes, but was also talking to her visitors and family members.
Hospital CEO Vijay Kumar said that Madhulika would be kept on a ventilator for the next 48 hours.
A team of seven doctors performed four surgeries on the badly injured girl. Her health condition is said to be stable now after 28 units of blood were injected into her to perform the surgeries.
Neuro-surgeon Dr Srinivas said that they had removed a fractured bone from her hind head. And plastic surgeon Dr Chandramouli said that severed muscles of Madhulika were stitched during the surgeries.
