Hyderabad | 16th August 2023
Four persons involved in a murder that occurred in the Banglaguda police station limits were today arrested and produced before a court for judicial remand.

The police said on August 11, 2023, at about 5 pm, a known rowdy-sheeter Shaik Sayeed Bin Abdul Rahman Bawazeer, of Barkas in Chandrayangutta, was killed in a building named Buftaim, near Royal Sea Hotel at the Bandlaguda crossroads. Upon a complaint by Bawazeer's father, a murder case was registered.

After investigation, Ahmed Bin Hajeb of Sultan Shahi; AIMIM in-charge of Jalpally Ahmed Saadi, and his son and Jalpally municipality chairman Abdullah Saadi, both of Barkas; and Mohammed Ayub Khan of Sultan Shahi were identified for their involvement and arrested. Two other suspects, Saleh Saadi of Barkas and Omer Saadi of Barkas, son and relative of Ahmed Saadi respectively, are still absconding.

Police said that Bawazeer was previously involved in nine cases under different police stations of Hyderabad and Rachakonda, of which three were POCSO cases. The principal accused Ahmed Bin Hajeb, also a rowdy-sheeter, was involved in six cases under different police stations of Hyderabad and Cyberabad. In the year 2021, while Bawazeer was in the Chanchalguda jail in connection with a POCSO case, he happened to meet Hajeb who too was in jail, and became friends.

After release from jail the two continued their friendship, during which Bawazeer lured Hajeb into sex with him. Bawazeer also started forcing Hajeb to bring his friends to him for satisfying his lust. Bawazeer also tried to have sex with Omer Saadi, who bluntly refused and bore a grudge againt the former for that.

Investigation revealed that the Bawazeer was making videos with adverse statements on the family of the Saadis and Mohammed Ayub Khan about their political positions and defaming them in public regularly through news channels and social media. Upon knowing the relationship between Bawazeer lured Hajeb, the Saadis and Mohammed Ayub Khan hatched a conspiracy to eliminate Bawazeer with the help of Hajeb and Omer Saadi, and offered Rs. 13 lakh to Hajeb for that.

On August 9, 2023, Hajeb contacted Bawazeer over the phone and informed him about bringing a teenager for sex, and Bawazeer asked Hajeb to bring the boy to his office. On the night of August 10, Hajeb along with the teenager and Omer Saadi started on two bikes, and on the way Hajeb procured chilli powder and reached the office of Bawazeer at 11:10 pm while Omer Saadi sat waiting outside the office.

Hajeb along with the teenager went into the office of Bawazeer, who had sex with the teenager keeping Hajeb outside. After some time, Hajeb sprinkled chilli powder in the eyes of Bawazeer and whipped out a knife and stabbed the latter indiscriminately, causing instant death.

Hajeb along with Omer Saadi and the teenager promptly sped from the spot on their vehicles.
