Formula E Race Case: High Drama At ACB Office

High drama took place at the ACB office this morning when BRS working president K T Rama Rao came there for interrogation in the Formula E race payments case.

KTR went to the ACB headquarters along with his lawyers. His cars were stopped by the police at the gate of the ACB office, and the police informed him that only he could enter and his lawyers would not be allowed inside the ACB office.

This led to an argument between the police and KTR, who even spoke to senior police officials on the issue. Once it was clear that his lawyers would not be allowed inside the office, he returned without appearing for the interrogation.

Responding to KTR's return without appearing before them, ACB officials alleged that KTR had created a drama by bringing his lawyers, and that the lawyers were brought just to evade the ACB probe.

They added that KTR did not pay heed to the High Court's advice to cooperate with the investigation, and that the ACB would take up the matter to the notice of the court.

The ACB officials are now getting ready to issue another notice to KTR to appear before them on either Monday evening or Tuesday morning.

Sources say that KTR will also approach the High Court seeking directions to the ACB to conduct the hearing in the presence of a lawyer.

It is already known that the High Court has reserved its verdict on KTR's petition to quash the FIR against him.
