Etala Rajender Will Be National Leader: Union Minister

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri today said that the services of former minister and BJP candidate for the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat Etala Rajender were needed not only in Telangana but also at the national level.

He made these remarks while addressing a gathering on the occasion of the filing of the nomination papers of Rajender.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the first constituency visited for electioneering in Telangana by PM Modi was Malkajgiri, and that the party high command had sent him here exclusively to participate in the nomination ceremony of Etala.

"I'm glad to be present. The Malkajgiri constituency is very unique. It is a mini-India. Etala Rajender is a popular leader and a political veteran. He served as a minister for 7 years. I congratulate him for his services to the people during corona pandemic period. I am fully confident that Rajender will be elected and sent to the Lok Sabha. His experience and services are also needed in Delhi. I'll be back to the State after the victory of Rajender. I convey my best wishes in advance," the union minister said.

Rajender said that the BJP flag would fly on Malkajgiri after the Lok Sabha elections, and that no political party had the capability to stop the victory of the saffron party.

He alleged that an attempt was being made to create confusion with the fake survey reports. "In Malkajgiri, the results of various surveys are coming up. The reality is that people are ready to vote for the BJP. I have fought for many communities. All of them are now coming forward to support me. There will be a war between dharma and adharma. All the people who have been watching me for 22 years, I appeal to you to vote for me," he said.

He also appealed to the people to cast their vote in the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly seat election to the BJP candidate Vamsa Tilak.

In the public meeting, Vamsa Tilak, Medchal district BJP president Vikram Reddy, MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy, former MLC Ramchander Rao, former MLAs Bodiga Shobha and NVSS Prabhakar, BJP Telangana Women's Cell president Shilpa Reddy, BJP SC Morcha State president Koppu Bhasha, constituency convener R K Srinivas, several corporators, and party leaders Samaranga Reddy and Sudarshan Reddy were also present.

Later, Rajender and local leaders participated in the bike rally organised by the BJP from his residence to the Medchal Collector's office.

Rajender then filed his nomination as the BJP candidate for the Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat at the Medchal Collector's office.
