Congress, BJP Win 8 Lok Sabha Seats Each, BRS None
Asaduddin Owaisi expectedly won the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, defeating the BJP's Madhavi Latha by a huge margin of 3,38,087 votes.

Of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana, the Congress and the Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) won eight seats each, and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi retained his Hyderabad seat.
The BRS failed to register even a single victory in the elections.
The Congress won the Khammam, Nalgonda, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Zaheerabad, Bhuvanagiri, Nagar Kurnool and Peddapalli seats while BJP candidates won the Adilabad, Chevella, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Malkajgiri and Secunderabad seats.
The son of former minister and senior Congress leader Jana Reddy, Raghuveer Reddy, set a record for the highest majority in the history of Telugu States. He won the Nalgonda Lok Sabha seat against BJP candidate Saidi Reddy by a majority of more than 5.51 lakh votes. This is the highest majority in the history of Telugu states. In 2011, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy won the Kadapa Lok Sabha by-election by a majority of 5.43 lakhs, and Raghuveer Reddy beat that.
