Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that two bedroom houses would be completed by the Ugadi festival in the Erravalli village in the Jagdevpur mandal of the Medak district.
Participating in a health camp at the village, KCR made the announcement after distributing goggles to a few old people.
Speaking on the occasion, KCR reiterated that the government was committed to the welfare of the poor and downtrodden.
"I will not let you go without homes," he said, adding that the government would provide them good quality and permanent shelter.
The government was taking up many welfare schemes and developmental programs in the state, and land was required for such programs, he said. He therefore appealed to owners to come forward to help the government.
