The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Vice-Chancellor D N Reddy, upon releasing the EAMCET 2011 key on Wednesday, had stated that the 3 erroneous questions had been deleted from the papers.
He had also stated that written complaints regarding any more wrong questions found in the medicine, agriculture or engineering papers would be entertained.
According to sources, medical entrance coaches in the city had identified 6 wrong questions in the paper, besides the 3 deleted questions.
It has been reported that questions 42, 49, 56, 58, 60 and 69 (according to the code A paper) in the medical stream are ambiguous, and are eligible for deletion. They stated that there were translation and conceptual errors in the questions, and that one of the questions did not have the right answer listed among the options.
The complainants reportedly filed a petition with the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) chairman P Jayaprakash Rao, asking him to delete the wrong questions.
EAMCET convener Ramana Rao is understood to have promised the complainants that the errors pointed out would be examined, and that the final key would be released along with the results by June 2nd.
