Telangana EAMCET On May 15, TET On May 22
Based on the Supreme Court's verdict on NEET on May 3, the State government may change the schedule of the medicine entrance examinations, if necessary.

The Telangana government has decided to conduct EAMCET 2016 on May 15 and TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) on May 22, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari said.
Addressing the media at the Secretariat on Monday, Srihari said that based on the Supreme Court's verdict on NEET on May 3, the State government may change the schedule of the medicine entrance examinations, if necessary.
The State government is opposing NEET through Article 371D, but will abide by the apex court's verdict, he said.
EAMCET 2016 results comprising ranks will be announced on May 27, counselling will be conducted in June, and classes will begin from July 1 without any hindrance to the academic year, he added.
The government was preparing to conduct EAMCET 2016 in a smooth manner, and there was no need for panic among students and parents, he said assuringly. Candidates could download their hall-tickets online from May 12.
The 1,44,801 engineering aspirants will take the examination from 10 am to 1 pm, and the 1,10,987 agriculture and medical stream aspirants will take the exam from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The TET examination will be conducted on May 22, a Sunday, and the students can download their hall-tickets online from May 13.
It was been decided that the exams will be conducted only in government colleges and institutions.
Meanwhile, in the Polytechnic entrance examinations held on April 21, some 82.52% of the students - i. e. 1,03,001 - qualified of the 1,24,747 who took the exams. eight students scored 120 marks out of 120 in the exams. There are a total of 58,080 seats in the 223 polytechnic colleges (54 government and 169 private) in Telangana. The ranks can be downloaded using the password resupolyts@2016.
