6 AP Students In Top 10 In Telangana EAMCET
Four students from Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy took the top four ranks in the engineering entrance while the next six went to Andhra Pradesh students.

Four students from the Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts bagged the top four ranks in the engineering entrance while the next six went to Andhra Pradesh students, in the Telangana EAMCET 2016 results announced today by Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari at a press conference at the Secretariat.
Girls from the Telangana districts bagged three of the top 10 agricultural and allied entrance ranks, while the other seven were bagged by Andhra Pradesh students.
In the engineering stream, Tulluri Sai Teja (Kukatpally) bagged the first rank with 100 per cent marks by scoring a full 160. D Chetan Sai (Madhapur) bagged the second rank, G Nikhil Samrat (Madhapur) got the third rank, and K Vignesh Reddy (Madhapur) got the fourth rank - all scored 159 marks.
The fifth rank holder Ch Rahul is from Guntur - he secured 158 marks. Andhra Pradesh students got all the remaining five ranks in the top 10, securing 157 marks each:

Kondeti Tanmayee - seventh rank (Vizianagaram)
Ganta Gautham - eighth rank (Eluru, WG Dist)
N Jayakrishna Sai Vinay - ninth rank (Guntur)
S Vamshi Krishna Reddy - 10th rank (Visakhapatnam)
In the entrance for seats in agriculture and allied courses, AP boys got the first, third and ninth ranks, while girls from Telangana secured the second, fourth and fifth ranks. Kadapa boy Bojja Pradeep Reddy stood first, Somala Pratyusha from Miryalaguda of the Nalgonda district secured the second rank, Mohammed Arbaz from Vijayawada bagged the third rank, V Pranathi from Secunderabad secured the fourth rank and A Yagna Priya from Hyderabad got the fifth rank. All got the full 160 marks.
Zeeshan Ahmed Jaleeli of Hyderabad got the sixth rank, Rajupalem Ujwal of Nizampet (Ranga Reddy) got the seventh rank, T Kaushik of Warangal got the eighth rank, P Sailaja of Visakhapatnam got the ninth rank and A Srinidhi of Miryalaguda got the 10th rank, all securing 159 marks.
The rank cards and OMR answer sheets can be downloaded from June 6 from www.tseamcet.in. The percentage of qualified candidates for whom ranks were awarded is 77.88 for the engineering stream and 83.98 for agriculture and allied streams. 1,03,923 students qualified of the 1,33,428 students that appeared for the engineering colleges entrance test, and 75,681 students qualified of the 90,114 the students that appeared for the agriculture and allied courses' seats.
The government will conduct the MBBS and BDS entrance examinations as per the announced schedule on July 9, and classes will start at a later date after the completion of the inspections of some engineering colleges for norms.
