Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar announced a new security measure, on Tuesday, while addressing the staff at a New Year gathering.
"A dress code will be implemented to distinguish our staff from others during the Assembly session, as part of security measures," he said.
He said the dress code would come into effect at the begining of the next Assembly session.
He added, "To prevent a larger workload, and as part of upgrading the Speaker's office, all files in his chamber would be computerised."
Technical training will be provided to the staff, he said, in regard to the automation.
Responding to the demands for the regularization of people currently working on a temporary basis, the Speaker said that he will take a decision on it after convening a meeting with the officials concerned. (INN)
