Assembly Remains Paralysed Over Telangana Bill
The House was divided into 2 groups - the Telangana legislators on one side and the Seemandhra MLAs on the other.

The proceedings of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly remained paralysed for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, over the notice served by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy seeking rejection of the State Reorganisation Bill.
As soon as the House met at 9am, the YSR Congress Party MLAs gave an adjournment motion notice, seeking clarity on the Telangana Bill.
Speaker Nadendla Manohar disallowed the adjourned motion.
Meanwhile, a majority of legislators from the Telangana region stormed the Speaker's podium and raised slogans against the CM.
At the same time, the Seemaandhra MLAs also trooped into the well, demanding that the Speaker place the notice issued by the CM and others under Rule 77 before the House for consideration.
The ministers from Telangana region also joined the protest by standing at their respective seats, and raised slogans against the Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Amidst the din, the Speaker adjourned the House at about 9.05am, for an hour.
Similar situation continued when the House met again at about 10.42am.
Within 3 minutes, the house was adjourned again for one hour.
Normalcy was restored when the Assembly re-assembled at about 2pm.
The House was divided into two groups with Telangana legislators demanding that the CM withdraw the notice, and the Seemandhra MLAs asking the Speaker to table the notice for consideration.
At about 2.05pm, the Speaker adjourned the House for the day after calling all the floor leaders for the meeting of Business Advisory Committee in his chambers. (INN)
