AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, on Saturday, expressed hopes of having a pre-poll alliance with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
Speaking to media personnel, Digvijay Singh admitted that the Congress High Command was in touch with the TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, and a decision on the proposed alliance will be taken after holding discussions with the TRS committee headed by K Keshava Rao.
He also announced that separate PCCs for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be formed soon.
Meanwhile, Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy asked KCR not to announce candidates for the ensuing elections. He said that any hasty move will most likely cause harm to both the Congress and TRS in the next elections. (INN)
