Dharna Demanding Arrest Of TRS Corporator's Son

Demanding that the government file a case under the Preventive Detection Act against Malkajgiri corporator Jagdeesh Goud's son Abhishek Goud for harassing a woman on social media, locals staged a dharna on Sunday.

The agitators alleged that though Abhishek Goud had already spent a jail term on the same charge, he continued to harassing girls on Facebook. They alleged that the police were not initiating action against him as he was the son of a TRS Corporator.

They demanded that Jagadeesh Goud tender his resignation from his post immediately.
