Three Jailed For Eve Teasing In Gandhi Nagar

The XIII Special MM Court, Secunderabad, today convicted and sent to prison three persons for eve-teasing and creating nuisances in a drunken condition in the limits of the Gandhi Nagar police station.

In the first case, two persons identified as D Manikanta, 19, and A Bhuvaneshwar, 19, both of Bholakpur, were convicted to undergo rigorous imprisonment of 37 days and 19 days respectively for teasing women.

In another case, one K Bharath alias Ballu, 29, of Potti Sri Ramulu Nagar, CC Nagar, was convicted and sentenced to undergo 112 days imprisonment by the magistrate for creating a nuisance in a drunken condition and also misbehaving with women in the CC Nagar double bed room colony.

The ACP, Chikkadpally, cautioned all the citizens of the Gandhi Nagar police limits that no offences, including petty offences, would be tolerated by the police, and that anyone violating the law would be punished strictly.
