The remarks made by now-ex-MLA Dharmana Prasada Rao - where he claims that the 26 GOs related to the VANPIC scheme were not independently issued by Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy - show that there is no plausible case against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sabitha Indra Reddy, after submitting their resignations, told the media that the GOs were issued as per the business rules and that it was not an individual decision, but a collective decision.
"If the decision was taken as per the business rules and in compliance with the government policy, there could be no case against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy", party member Gattu Ramchandra Rao told reporters on Monday.
The party member also demanded the viability of the investigation which is being conducted by the CBI, if it can be proven that there is no valid case against Jagan.
After Dharmana Prasada Rao has categorically said that the decision was the collective responsibility of the Cabinet and not only that of the Chief Minister alone, things are clear, and the government and the CBI should clarify what the case is against Y S Jaganmohan Reddy now", said Gattu Ramchandra Rao.
