The CBI special court, on Monday, extended YSR Congress party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's judicial remand in the Disproportionate Assets case to August 12.
The court has also extended the remand of former ministers Mopidevi Venkataramana, industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and ex-bureaucrat Brahmananda Reddy to August 12. The court proceedings were carried out through video conference from the Chanchalguda jail.
Meanwhile, the CBI court has also extended the judicial remand of Karnataka's former minister, Gali Janardhan Reddy, and that of his assitant, Ali Khan, till August 12 in connection to the Obulapuram Mining Company's alleged illegal iron-ore mining case.
In this case too, the proceedings were held through video-conference from the Bangalore jail where Janardhan Reddy and Ali Khan are presently lodged. (INN)
