After the Chief Minister and the PCC chief, it is now the turn of Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha to visit Delhi.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana had held meetings with various leaders, and also with AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi.
The developments in the state in wake of ministers being named in the
CBI's charge sheet recently, and the growing dissent in the party, were discussed. Also on the agenda was a strategy to strengthen the party and give its welfare schemes some publicity.
Rahul Gandhi has seemingly adopted a strategy of discussing issues with leaders directly instead of lending his ears to state in-charges.
It may also be mentioned here that while the Chief Minister hails from Rayalaseema, the PCC chief is from coastal Andhra, and the Deputy Chief Minister hails from the Telangana region. (INN)
