Former MLC and rebel Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader H A Rahman scoffed at the wild promises being made by TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao that he would ensure that Muslims will get 12% quota after the formation of a separate State.
Talking to media persons, Rahman said that KCR had been rattled by the taking over of the Telangana movement by Balladeer Gaddar with the formation of the Telangana Praja Front (TPF).
Rahman stated that KCR knew that the people of the region were fed up of him, and would undoubtedly shift their support to the TPF.
Alleging that KCR was making wild promises which cannot be kept, Rahman said that KCR had converted the TRS into KCR & Family Pvt Ltd.
The rebel TRS leader accused KCR of putting up a show of being Muslim-friendly.
The former MLC pointed out that KCR claimed to free all the Wakf lands under occupation in Telangana region, and wondered how this could be possible.
The rebel TRS leader pointed out that it was he who had filed a writ petition in the High Court against the government for allotting Wakf land to Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal's Lanco Group and had obtained a stay order. He alleged that KCR had made a deal behind closed doors with Lagadapati after the stay order.
Rahman also charged that the TRs chief had neglected those Muslims who had joined the party since 2001.
The rebel leader alleged that KCR was taking huge amounts of money from leaders of various political parties who had joined the TRS to lend support to the Telangana movement. Rahman also charged that KCR had taken money for giving tickets to some party leaders in the last elections but did not campaign for them, thus making them lose.
