Danam Won't Quit Party: Telangana Congress
TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that he strongly felt that Greater Hyderabad Congress president Danam Nagendar would not leave the Party.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said on Sunday that he strongly felt that Greater Hyderabad Congress president Danam Nagendar would not leave the Party under any circumstances.
Vikramarka had convened a meeting with Party activists in Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday to chalk out a strategy to be adopted for the Party's victory in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikramarka said that Nagendar, who had enjoyed big posts including a Minister's post, would not leave the Party.
The rumours about his switching loyalties to the ruling TRS were being cooked up by the media, and there was not even an ouce of chance of Nagendar quitting the Party for greener pastures, Vikramarka said.
He added that Nagendar himself had categorically denied rumours of his wanting to joining the TRS several times.
Vikramarka also advised Telangana Chief Minister and TRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao on the occasion of Dr Ambedkar's death anniversary to give respect to the country's Constitution and to refrain from luring leaders from other political parties for temporary gains.
He warned that his Party would launch an agitation with like-minded Parties against KCR's unholy politics.
He also faulted the TRS president for fielding candidates in the MLC election in districts where there were not even 10 voters.
