Congress Legislature Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today slammed both the state and the union governments over the issue of the purchase of paddy from Telangana.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly Media Point, Vikramarka wondered what the fighting between the state and central governments was all about, when both had the responsibility to prevent the problems of the state's farmers, and their roles were clear.
He said that both the state and the union governments had the weapons to solve the problems of the farmers, but neither was willing to use them, and were instead doing dharnas to cheat the farmers of the state.
He claimed that the state and the country had gone back by 50 years back in the rules of the TRS and the BJP respectively. He also mockingly claimed that the state was ruled from the house of a leader of the country.
