The TRS MP approached the High Court challenging the arrest of his son D Sanjay accused of sexual harassment by nursing students of the latter's college.
TRS Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas filed a petition in the High Court challenging the police remand of his son D Sanjay accused of sexual harassment by nursing students of the latter's college.
He mentioned in his petition that the police had remanded his son as per the Andhra Pradesh Police Manual, and that the Telangana government hadn't prepared a police manual though the state had been formed five years ago, which made the cases filed against his son invalid.
Accepting the petition, the court postponed the case to August 21.
