Congress, TRS Workers Clash At Revanth Reddy's House
The incident took place when some TRS activists tried to burn an effigy of Reddy at his residence condemning his comments against minister K T Rama Rao.
The ruling TRS and opposition Congress workers clashed at TPCC president A Revanth Reddy's house today.
They also raised slogans against each other.
The incident took place when a couple of TRS activists tried to burn an effigy of Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills condemning the comments of the TPCC president against industries minister K T Rama Rao.
However, Congress activists present at Reddy's residence stopped the TRS workers from burning the effigy, leading to the clash.
The Jubilee hills police who reached the spot dispersed the workers of the two parties and brought the situation under control.
The police also set up a police picket at the residence of Reddy to avoid any kind of violent incidents.
Reddy had challenged KTR to come to Gun Park yesterday and undergo a drug test to prevent the usage of banned drugs in the state. The TPCC president waited at Gun Park for some time to see if the latter would turn up and accept his challenge. KTR did not turn up (of course), and instead filed a defamation case against Reddy alleging that the comments made by Reddy damaged his image in society.
