Congress, BRS Workers Clash At KTR's Camp Office

Workers from the ruling Congress attempted to put up a photo of CM Revanth Reddy inside the office, leading to a fight with BRS leaders and activists.
Hyderabad | 26th May 2025
Tension prevailed today at the camp office of former minister and BRS MLA K T Rama Rao in the Sircilla constituency.

Workers from the ruling Congress attempted to put up a photo of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inside the office. However, they were stopped by BRS leaders, leading to a scuffle between the activists of both parties that resulted in several injuries.

The police quickly arrived at the scene and lathi-charged workers from both parties to disperse the crowd. Later, several Congress workers were arrested and taken to the police station.

During the incident, BRS workers shouted slogans of "CM down down" while Congress workers responded with "KTR down down".

BRS leaders have reportedly raised concerns recently about the non-extension of protocol to KTR on several occasions, and alleged that KTR's photo was not being displayed at State government programs. Congress workers responded by asking why CM Revanth Reddy's photo should not be displayed in KTR's camp office.
